Unsupported Filaments?

New user, setting up first job with PET-CF. Trying to use the Fiberon PET-CF profile. It shows as unsupported, but I can’t tell why. I changed both nozzles to 0.6 in case that was it but it did not become “supported”. It lets me pick it anyway, but why is it showing as unsupported? I do not have either AMS installed.

Where is it showing “unsupported”? What is the item you are trying to print?

Here’s a screenshot. The Fiberon PET-CF is in the unsupported category, only place I can get to it:

Those filament profiles (Fiberon) do not exist for H2D yet that why its unsupported, they only exist for P1 and X1 for now. You can just use the Bambu PET-CF profile to print it, should not be an issue.

My filaments manufacturer, Siraya, had the H2D profile for their PET-CF on their website. Points to them. I figured out how to add it to BL, so that hurdle is cleared.

I’m having this same issue even with the “Generic PLA” profile, but only super recently. Why wouldn’t they have a compatible “Generic PLA” profile on their new flagship printer?

I’m wondering if this might have something to do with the fact that I have a P1S with profiles saved as well, I wonder if it’s struggling to offer the profiles for both the P1S and the H2D? Not sure.

The last update wiped most of these for me. Maybe your issue is not that simple but if you click on your filament shown (PET-CF) and scroll down to Add Filaments, you can manually toggle all the other options on. For me, this was the issue. I had been using the X1 for months without issue until this last update some how turned off those settings.

Go to add/remove filaments, then deselect every printer except the H2D, and click Confirm. For me, this trick enabled all the Fiberon profiles, so it’s worth a try…

In my case I edtied the json file manually and removed the filament_vendor and set "inherits" to "Generic PLA".

I’m only using a P1S

TY! This worked for me when trying to use polymaker HT-PLA-CF! I have a X1C and had to delete every other profile under the polymaker profile (including the 0.6mm nozzle X1C profile) before it would show up under “Custom” instead of “Unsupported”

The issue is the profile for Fiberon PETG-CF or PETG-RCF stems from the fact the profile hasn’t been updated for the P2S (even though it should), it has the P1S as an option of course.
