I would recommend merging this with the other related topic that appeared first, albeit with a less obvious title.
I seriously doubt it, MakerWorld wish to foster the ability to have printed models blended with non-printable parts. I imagine they prefer their own MakerSupply (MS) parts be listed when available. I post both, often, MS doesn’t have the parts required, so I post where to get them.
Any removal of this would harm, not help them.
The issue they are trying to abate is the commercial advertising or off-site linking to sites for marketing purposes.
I will be upload some Arduino based models soon and MS doesn’t have those, so, I will obviously be left with the only alternatives.
In relation to your specific example of the LED strip lengths. If they do not sell one suitable, you can’t list theirs. Facts do not outweigh wishes to use MS.
