I don’t know if anyone else is having this issue, but when I go to connect to the A1 Bambu Studio seems to forget the password for the printer and I have to re-enter it. This didn’t happen before the last firmware and software updates.
Update:
Ok here is exactly the scenario, Printer in LAN mode only. Print is sliced and send to printer via wifi. After the file is sent to the printer successfully. The printer looses connection with bambu studio and displays a “Wrong Password” error message.
The printer having received the file begins to process the print. But Bambu Studio can no longer communicate with the printer until I re-enter the password and then it will connect and start working normally.
This happens every time I send a print.
Thanks

Same with me. Have two A1 printers one bought before the bed cable issues and one bought after. Bambu studio constantly forgets the passwords for both and have to re-enter them.
I would say that it seems like more of a Bambu Studio problem then firmware.
For me it started to happen after I updated Studio.
This appears to be an issue with the “Bambu Network Engine” plugin, as it is also an issue in Orca Slicer, which uses the same plugin. Both have been having occasional issues since the last plugin update.
Edit: This is not the only issue with the plugin, BTW. If the machine running the slicer suspends, it will not be able to reconnect with the printer at all. Must close the slicer and restart. Again, both BambuStudio and Orca Slicer are affected.
The latest release of the network plugin is just buggy af.
I am having the same issue on one windows 11 machine, while I don’t have the issue on windows 10. However, I also made a change on the printer between installing the two instances of Bambu Studio. The steps that appear to have caused this bug:
Install BS on win 11
Connect via cloud
Set LAN only mode on P1S
Connect via LAN only mode in BS
Reset acces code on P1S
Reconnect on win 11
Suspend win 11 PC (disconnects BS from P1S)
Press + and select P1S on Devices screen of BS … get Incorrect password message
Repeat above … Get prompt for access code
I suspect BS has stored the original access code somewhere and attempts a login with it.
Ok well now with the newest Bambu Studio this has really gotten worse. I can connect to the printer. But if I want to calibrate the device shows no printer. I reconnect and if I change pages it looses the printer again. I have 2 A1 and both are doing the exact same thing.
It’s making very hard to make adjustment or anything after slicing.
Help
I have to enter it every time my laptop falls asleep, so 10+ times during this 1 print. Even more stupid, BS forgets “which” of my 1 printer I want to use EVERY time I change tabs in BS. Even when I’m watching live view it forgets “which” printer to use, then requires the password yet again to re-enable live view. This is also in LAN only mode. BS should at LEAST remember “which” of my 1 printer it just sent a job to, never mind the rock-bottom-basic feature of remembering the password.
same here A1 every print i guess they are not going to fix this problem started after stupid update now i think i might find something else and get my money back from these guys dont have time for this ■■■■
