Updated to firmware 1.07 error resonance frequency X axis low

I just updated to the newest 1.07 firmware on my P1P and ran a calibration. Now I’m getting the error that the resonance frequency of the X axis is low.

I’ve ran through the steps of cleaning the carbon rods and tensioning the belts but the error still occurs. I’ve read that this happened sometime last year to a lot of people but it was a software bug with a firmware update. Could this possibly be the case again?

Tried to downgrade the firmware to 1.06.01.02 and that didn’t fix the issue.

UPDATE: Went ahead and replaced the XY belts, cleaned carbon rods and re-tensioned the cables. Updated back to firmware 1.07 and after running another calibration, I’m still getting the error that the resonance frequency of the X axis is low. I don’t know how this is possible because the tension of the belts are fairly tight and barely move when plucked.

I just upgraded too, but I haven’t recalibrated it. Do I need to after a firmware upgrade?

You don’t have to run a recalibration but I like to after an update or every so often.
So I got the error to go away by replacing the carbon rod assembly. Not sure if that was the issue but replaced them and the belts and re-tensioned them. The error didn’t show up again after calibration.
