I originally had Bambu Studio (normal release) installed on my PC.
I was having some minor problems so I installed Bambu Studio Beta. All seemed to work ok!
Later I noticed that I have two directories installed on my Windows machine:
C:/Users/me/AppData/Roaming/BambuStudio
and
C:/Users/me/AppData/Roaming/BambuStudioBeta
OK. I guess this is to leave both environments separate.
Of course, there was only one Start Menu for Bambu Studio (and the shortcut on my desktop) which launched only the Beta version, which was ok for me as this is what I wanted.
I got a notice from Bambu Studio Beta that there was a new version available. I just followed all the prompts and it installed version 1.8.2.56. Great! easy upgrade, it seems to be working!
But how do I clean up my system? I didn’t notice it un-installing the previous version(s) the released version nor the beta version.
AND
I still have two directories on my PC:
C:/Users/me/AppData/Roaming/BambuStudio
and
C:/Users/me/AppData/Roaming/BambuStudioBeta
I’d like to clean this up! Do I simply delete the …/BambuStudioBeta folders? I don’t see any beta specific ‘uninstall’ tool.
I don’t want to simply delete the Beta folder without guidance as I don’t want to break anything (windows can be pesky in situations like this).
Can anyone offer the proper guidance (and not a simple guess)?
Thanks!
