There’s definitely an upgrade path, which I and many others took: Sell the P2S at the best possible margin, possibly as a nice bundle with accessories. Then, just bite the bullet and order the X2D.
Bonus tip: Use the available MakerWorld points to get a coupon, like 40€ off.
