I own the h2s , i might be thinking to buy the h2c upgrade kit for the h2s.
but my question was the following , is it going to be the same exact machine with all same feature or the stand alone h2c still have some option/feature.
I know the glass side panel ( left/right ) will be missing. But other than that ?
I will be honest, either you keep your H2S or sell it. Get the H2C out of factory. If you get the upgrade kit, you will have a heatbed and toolhead sitting in your inventory. Parts that maybe not many people would buy to recoup your cost. It’s better off if you can sell your printer on marketplace and get H2C as whole.
~speaking from experience upgrading H2D to H2C here.
Only the front panel is included with the kit - whether you change this or not is up to you, as its simply an aesthetic part with no further functionality.
The upgrade process itself is quite fun - but yes, you will get left with some parts that sit wasted. Been trying to sell my H2D removed parts for months and no-one wants them!
I just sold my H2D toolhead on Ebay for $300. or maybe I’m counting my chickens early, it was delivered Yesterday and payout is tomorrow. H2S toolhead likely a lot harder to find a buyer.
you never know, there might be a market one day for people wanting to do a H2S to H2D upgrade cheaper than the H2S to H2C , im keeping mine for spaires once i get around to doing mine in the next week or so, or gradualy make a Franken-H2D through parts , the head, AP board and the heated bed are probably the most expensive parts anyway!
I’m a little concerned about selling on eBay as all it takes is for the buyer to install it wrong, damage the part in the process, and then return it as ‘Item Not As Described’ or ‘Faulty’ etc - leaving me to foot the bill!
If you own an H2S laser edition, you will need to order additionally the H2C side panel. Also notify Bambu Lab support that you have a laser edition and ordered the vortek upgrade kit for H2S. They will send you for free the H2C top cover frame dedicated to the laser edition.
The laser version or laser upgrade exist for H2S and the side panels are without windows so why BL would provide panels if upgraded to H2C, it does not need them
Can’t do that - at least not in the UK. eBay will give the buyer 30 days to raise any dispute.
Only way I can sell as seen with no refunds is if its a direct sale via Facebook or something, where I’ve had it listed a while already! I’m in no rush for the funds anyways, so will leave it listed for now!
Since you say you’ve previously owned an H2D, (and I’m getting a shipment of one soon), why won’t Bambu Slicer let you use two different sizes of nozzles on the same print? I would love to use 0.2 for fine details in one color, and 0.4 for structural areas in the same print! It seems weird to me. I can’t really think of any physical limitations that would keep it from being able to print with different sized nozzles…
