Upload to SD card w/o printing

My A1 mini is located in a different room from the computer with BS and I want to send a model file to the mini’s SD card and then start it from the front panel so I can observe the startup process.

I slice the model and then select SEND from the drop-down rather than PRINT PLATE. When I click SEND, I get a dialog asking for the printer’s IP address and access code. Once I enter those, I get a dialog asking to select the printer type and enter the S/N. Once I do that, nothing happens.

I am not running in LAN Only mode and using the PRINT PLATE option works fine.

I’m running BS 1.10.1.50 on a Mac mini M2 Pro with OSX 14.7.

I am getting this exact same error, and it’s been happening to people a lot over the last year. (I’ve spent the last day perusing the boards looking for an answer… ANY answer)

Updated firmware, and a mere 24 hours later I can no longer send any files from my Studio to any of my 3 devices.

I have an A1, an A1 mini, and an X1 Carbon. All three are now experiencing this error. They are all in the same room, with great wifi access. We opened ports, change the WLAN they were on, changed the WLAN I’m on, tried hardwire ethernet on my PC and tried Wifi only. We allowed them through the firewall, we shut down the entire firewall. We uninstalled and reinstalled literally everything from the Studio, to the Handy, to even factory resetting the Mini just to see if that would work. We are on 3 gig up and down fiber internet. This is quite obviously NOT a network issue.

I can see the video feed on all three devices, I can print from my PC directly to the device, I can edit the device from my PC (Heat, filament, etc), I can print directly from handy. I can NOT send anything to save to the SD cards, without getting a LAN error.

Honestly… this is an extremely inconvenient error, and not having a real fix for it is… disencouraging.
