UPS for the h2d that you do not need credit card debt for?

So when I first saw the power rankings for the h2d I had a mini heart attack and seeing I’m not too knowledgable on high power equipment such as a ups I was see if any of you have any idea for a ups (ps I would rather not have a jet engine in my home aka a server ups) I only have a 120v port also it would be nice I could add my p1s to it too but if I do that I will probably need another mortgages

I looked at that it look more like people where talking about his setup

How long does it need to run for?

To size a UPS, you first need to have an idea what you want it to do. Do you want to run for however long the power is out, or do you want it up long enough to pause the task so that it can resume when power comes back?

Then you need to know what the current draw is while running, not startup current, running current. The H2D draw max current when it first starts a job, but once running the current draw goes down, with peaks and valleys during head changes.

Now go to one of the UPS sites and look for their uptime calculator, put in your requirements and it will give you a list of UPS that will work.

Since I have an H2d, I can tell you that the UPS I use for my VM server will not support the H2d for anything more than 5 minutes, but ones used to run a switch stack POE VC with 8 switches, will, but its also rack mounted with a separate battery case. It will give 20 minutes run time at full capacity.

So did a little looking myself, the H2D uses 1320 watts max on 120v, and want a 20 minute runtime.

As I figured, its a rack mount unit, 2.2kVA and reuires a 20 Amp outlet with the 20 Amp socket, thats the one with a vertical and horizontal blade, wont work in standard outlets, must be a 20 Amp.

5 ish would be good but more would be great

Ecoflow delta 3. I know a couple people here on the forums use them and they work great. I have one in my Jeep an extra battery I have been meaning to pull to test, but there is enough vouches these days for it that it can be trusted.

If I could ask y you flagged this conversation

Ok if you do try it you can tell me if it works
