URGENT PROBLEM: BS V2 files lose all settings in BS V1!

I can’t be the only person running into this, unless 100% of users using MakerWorld have upgraded to V2???
When opening a 3MF saved from V2 and opening in V1, ALL print settings are lost. ALL OF THEM. The entirety of every single slicer setting gets lost and so do all build plates. It’s like you just opened an STL. This is a MASSIVE PROBLEM! I’m about to upload 20 new Print Profiles for 8 different Desiccant Box types to update my Spillproof series to the AMS 2 PRO - this has taken WEEKS of work to build, parse, print, photograph, and if anyone opens these files in V1, THEY WILL PRINT A BRICK.

I’m about to have a freaking anyerism here. I would put a gigantic warning to users: “You must use Bambu Studio 2.x to print these properly” but after 70,000 downloads and thousands of comments, NO ONE READS DESCRIPTIONS.

It also removes all of the settings loading a V1 file into V2, including making the file into a single .stl and removing the objects. This upgrade has been a PITA.

I am not a designer, but I feel for everyone who is, this is an absolute mess and it must be a nightmare for the designers. The only (TERRIBLE) workaround that I could see, would be to make 2 different print profiles, 1 for people using V1 and 1 for V2, and yes, no one reads.

I am not sure that would even work? I pulled down one of my older designs and in V1 it still wiped all the settings. They must have automatically updated all uploaded profiles.

So attempting to upload an older version might not work.
