User experience Jayo PLA?

Has anyone used Jayo PLA on BL printers? I got an email about some good deals for $9.09/kg but want to get some real user feedback first.

People say JAYO is SUNLU, but who knows…

I only have use white JAYO PLA+ and on my notes I have:

  • Easy to print
  • Very good finish
  • Cheap
  • Buy more with confidence

So I can recommend it.

Thanks for the info. I didn’t hear about Jayo being Sunlu. I just asked a question on Sunlu high speed PLA in another thread. I have been using Sunlu regular PLA.

Jayo is a brand of Sunlu. I’ve ordered and used about 100kg of Jayo PLA+ in the last month, but not in my Bambu printers. There isn’t anything special about Bambu printers that makes them “picky” so it would be safe to extrapolate anyone’s experience, not just Bambu users.

Got many people in a telegram group where i am that swear by it. And i can say, seeing the prints it seems that it’s true. Grab it while you can

I got their PETG, it was just a SUNLU roll in a different box. If you use it in the AMS you’ll need to print the adapter rings as it’s a narrower roll than the Bambu.
And don’t run them 100% dry as they have a little tail stuck into the roll that fights the AMS till it throws an error.
You can twist the roll apart and respool the filament but I run it to 90% then cut the tail and print something that uses the rest then moves to the next spool.

Thanks for all the feedbacks. I ran into some spools (different brands) that were not wound properly and had trouble with the AMS on BL printers before. So it’s good to know from people who have used it. Looks like it’s more like Sunlu which I have been using so it should be ok.

Interesting. Is this issue specific to their PETG only? I used Sunlu PLA and didn’t need adapter even though the spool is narrower. Also I didn’t have problem with the bend at the end of the filament. But I will keep an eye on it in case Jayo is wound differently from Sunlu. Thanks for the heads-up.
