Using the Bambu software

Good morning!

When I am working on the build plate and zoom in to paint of do manual support, I cannot fid a way to move the build plate to the middle of the screen? I find it often zooms to the right upper corner and is next to impossible to do anything accurately.

Thank you!

I am not completely sure I understand the issue, as I have not experienced this (and I haven’t had much coffee yet) but it sounds like you are needing to be able to pan around while zoomed in. If that is the case, panning is accomplished by holding down the middle mouse button and then using the mouse to drag/pan the view around as necessary.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for your quickly response. It does not help me.

So, if i have the print plate and use the mouse wheel to zoom in on the plate, it gets larger and goes to the top right of the screen at the same time. So then, I want to center the build plate in the middle of the screen, but do not know how to move it to the center of the screen. I hope this makes more sense for you before your morning coffee

Preferences (Ctrl-P) has a checkbox for “Zoom to mouse position”, which can help keep the part of the plate you are interested in from zooming out of the window.

Hold down the scroll wheel or right mouse button to drag the plate left/right/up/down.

Ctrl-0 centers plate in the window and restores default zoom. Many other keyboard shortcuts are available in the Help menu.

I have tried to create this situation myself and am having no luck whatsoever. It’s probably the low caffeine levels.

One thing you could try is turning on “zoom to mouse position” in your preferences so that when you scroll to zoom, you can directly control exactly where you are wanting to zoom. Just position your cursor in the desired location before scrolling to zoom in. This way you don’t have to try to move to the desired location after having zoomed in.

I feel like I could have explained this better. :coffee:

Thank you Ikraus,

I will try this out tonight.

you certainly did explain it better!

You deserve a double shot of coffee now, lol

Thank you again.
