Using the full build volume (x and y only!)

Hi guys,

I am trying to figure out, how to use the full build volume. I found this guide, and it says, that if you use 256x256x256, you will loose z-hopping, filament cutting and brim, which makes sense. However, I am only interested in using the X and Y components, so 256x256x250. Does that mean, that I can keep the z-hopping and filament cutting, since those features will not be affected? Do I still have to print and insert the stopper?

The guide is pretty clear.

Z-hop should not be an issue if your model is less than 250 mm high.

If you want to use the 18x28mm area in the left front corner, you must use the stopper.
