Presently, accessing the popover requires precise horizontal mouse movement and entry through the green area; otherwise, the popover is immediately canceled. This process could be smoother for a more user-friendly experience.
Two potential improvements come to mind for enhancing the user experience with the print profile hover popover:
- Transparent Extension: One approach could involve extending the popover on the right side with a transparent area (marked in red), allowing users a bit more leeway in their mouse movement without canceling the popover prematurely.
- Hide Delay with Mouse Reentry: Alternatively, implementing a hide delay for the popover that is canceled if the mouse reenters either the profile entry or the popover itself could also improve usability. This would provide users with a brief window to readjust their cursor position without immediately dismissing the popover.
