Variable infill

I’m a former Cura user (lol, sounds like a disease!). In Cura I could selectively specify the infill density on the part/model to, say, strengthen where a bolt goes through, or a bolster a high stress area.
I can’t seem to find a similar function in BambuStudio. I’m pretty sure it would be done with “Modifiers” but I can’t figure out how. Has anyone been able to do this?
Any help appreciated.

You use a modifier for this. Right click on the model and select the shape you want, then move/size it to overlap the region where you want the infill to be 100%. Then, with the modifier selected, there will be modifier-only slicer settings you can adjust, including infill, and they will only apply to the region of the model enclosed by the modifier.

I found this video helpful.

Hello. I have tried to add a modifier in order to adjust the infill to 100% at the bottom of a print to add weight for stability; however, when I change the infill to the madifier under the objects tab, it shows that I have it at 100% but when I slice and print it keeps the 15% infill as the rest of the print. Any ideas?

Do you set the infill pattern for the modifier to rectilinear (IIRC)?

Yes, it automatically changed to rectilinear when I adjusted the infill to 100%.

Post a screen grab of what it looks like in the slicer.
