You are in EU but not in Germany, right?
Yes, I live in Belgium
I‘ve had a discussion with bambu support about that topic last year. At that time there was no VAT-ID field on the checkout page.
They answered:
Yes, we do provide invoices for EU-registered companies. Upon verification, we will provide you with a VAT-Free Invoice. Once a purchase is made, please provide us with the following information.
Full Name:
Company Name:
Full Address:
Order#:
VAT ID:
Maybe this will still work for you.
That said for me it turned out that I have to pay VAT because my business is registered in Germany and the bambu EU warehouse is in Germany too. Wasn‘t aware of this at that time. 
Looks like they solved the issue! It is working now
