Vibration noise when printing circles

Yes, I have a similar problem.
but,
Mine happens when the extruder rotates counterclockwise, but it’s normal when it rotates clockwise.
I haven’t solved the problem yet and am looking for answers

I think several of the issues mentioned in this thread could be helped by this: Acr move | Bambu Lab Wiki [typo in the page name: SIC]

I had a model the other day that made the printer sound like a pepper grinder, for what should be simple basic circles. That particular case was fixed by bumping the Arc Fitting Resolution from default 0.012 to 0.2 - the arc fitting kicked in and printer was nice and quiet again.

Are there any solutions yet? The noise started yesterday for me and I’ll send a video when I get the chance.

I went through the ticket process, uploaded numerous video and by hand movements they requested and they just told me the noise was normal. I don’t feel entirely like thats true, but nothing I can really do unless I have issues in printing, which I havent experienced yet. It gets really grindy/noisey during circles, the small/faster the worse it seems. I haven’t tried the_Raz suggestion about by adjusting the arc fitting resolution as I wanted to make sure I didnt try to do anything until I went through the ticket process, which is basically still open since I still have noise

I did the Arc fitting and it has basically resolved the problem. This only resolves it for circles and have noticed on very particular travel movements it slightly does it still but any printing movements its essentially gone

I had the same issue. With the new firmware, I did the noice cancellation calibration again. The problem resolved.

My experience is I had clean and smooth curve print quality most of the time. I did my second time of noice cancellation calibration, which lead to the noice and poor print quality. I think I did my second time calibration with cold machine, that’s why I had the issue. I did my third time noice cancellation calibration today with a machine just finished a few jobs. This time all noice and poor quality are resolved.

Thanks for your ideas, I will check later when kids are in bed

It’s actually a bit sad that private people know more about problems than the support itself

Hi,

I had the same problem and the support team couldn’t really help me.
I dismantled the tool head cover and removed the fan, then put some insulating tape behind it (O-rings also work well). I then refitted the fan and tightened all the screws, some of which were a little loose.
I also cleaned the guide rod of the Y-axis and greased it well again and moved the toolhead back and forth to get some of the grease into the bearings.
This solved the noise problem for me.

Which grease do you use? The grease that came with the x1?

Yes and it works great

Sehr gut vielen Dank für die Tipps!!!

Du kommst aus Bayern hab ich gesehen?

I believe you are not supposed to grease the carbon rods, they are self lubricating. You should only clean them.

Only the Y-axis rods clean and grease, the carbon rods only clean with isoprobanol

That’s for sure! Only the y-rods

Hey,

i have this problem too - it appeared after the Noise canceling update.
Everytime when the printer prints round objects the sound comes.

Just for your Information - using an X1C bought in May´23

Do you have any progress? I have a same problem P1P

Hello everyone

I have an X1 Carbon and since the last update it has been making the same noise as described here.

I have linked two videos as an example.

I have about 150 hours of print time on the printer.

I have already cleaned and oiled the X-axis and Z-axis linear rods. Cleaned and greased the lead screws. The belts have been re-tensioned and checked.

I have also updated to the old version and back again but unfortunately no success.

If anyone has any further ideas?

I started getting this sound after I had to clean out a piece of filament from the extruder which I had to totally take apart and put it back together.

My extruder works fine. Hot end in good shape, put the side screws back on for the housing and my friend from a video immediately started noticing it.

Since then I have done all the recommended maint. The prints look great. I am using the recommended .stl save as mesh settings from Autodesk Fusion 360.

I noticed X-axis makes no noise. the other direction, makes more noise. circle noise but better with the .stl settings, but not 100% resolved.

Hello, dont worry, your printer is fine. It is making this noise because of the small radius of the circle which can’t or isn’t arc fitted. So nothing is wrong.
