I find myself looking at the screen on the printer to see the remaining time of the print. It would be nice to also see the remaining time of the current filament at the current layer. This might be something that is already possible and I’m just not aware, but if not it would be helpful.
This is a feature that Orca Slicer has had for months now. It may find itself eventually in Bambu Studio but if recent history is any indication, Bambu is too wrapped up in promoting Makerworld within their slicer to have focused much on improving Bambu Studio. Since this has been around since version 1.6 and it is now two releases later, I don’t hold a lot of hope that we will see it soon.
Besides, you realize you can have both slicer’s co-resident on the same machine so you are not forced to pick one over the other. In fact, if you love the Makerworld interface that is not presently in Orca. So in my use-case where I wanted to evaluate Makerworld as a Bambu Studio direct interface, I left Orca Open on one monitor with the camera but launched the print from within Bambu Studio giving me the best of both worlds.
I might be wrong, but this was not the question of OP.
I am also searching for the option, like in Klipper, to adjust the display setting of orca-slicer to assume the actual remaining time of current_layer.
Already digged into the code and adjusted some settings, but still not what i want to get
