Visible Layer Line after Pause (Layer shift?)

Hello. I am pausing the my print to insert a small metal object. When I resume the print, there is always a slight visible layer line showing where the pause occurred. Has anyone been able to come up with a solution on how to pause and resume without there being visible layer line showing where the pause occurred? I have tried changing the walls to outer/inner, which helped a little, but the line is still visible. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Do you induce the pause from the slicer or do you stop the print at a certain point? That sign occurs because during the pause the filament drops down one of the nozzles creating a bit of a gap [an empty area in the nozzle] and when the printer resumes printing after the pause it doesn’t load enough filament and takes a moment to complete that layer. You can try setting “first inside and then outside” in the slicer, this way it prints the internal wall first and when it switches to the external wall the problem should no longer recur…

Ok, as I haven’t said! You already did what I suggested! If you pause the printer try to extrude a few mm of filament and immediately restart the printing in this way fill the nozzle and you don’t have a gap inside the nozzle and this should improve the gap between the layers…
