Vision Encoder basically does nothing!

Hi,

I just bought Vision Encoder for my H2C printer and run calibration 3 times one after the other and same errors on all calibrations has been discovered by device.

So I consider; any of calibration does nothing and keeps same error if there is really.

But it clearly described on wiki;

After each calibration, the system compares the results against the uncalibrated initial state, rather than against the previous calibration state. Therefore, if the overall operating status of the printer does not change significantly, the results from each calibration will remain basically consistent.

So the displayed data a bit open for misunderstood. It is good to share to be understood for everyone.

This result shows how the printer corrected the geometry compared to the factory state. So when you get the same result every time, it means that calibration consistently detected the same deviations and corrected them. I would be worried if it found different deviations each time.

Thanks for sharing. The displayed result screen creates a bit confusion.

The note on wiki should also be shown on that screen I believe.

I have seen this exact question posted previously, and I agree to an extent, the wording is imprecise and could be improved upon.

“The hollow dots in the image represent the motion accuracy without calibration” would probably be better understood by users.

The wording on the wiki is a perfect explanation I believe.

Or system can show the calibration by calibration difference on the result page.

Otherwise everybody like me can misunderstood.
