I’m trying to find definitive information and on some posts I read that textured PEI plate isn’t supposed to have glue, but the website also recommends glue for Nylon and what not. I really don’t want to destroy the build plates. So my questions are:
- Which of the currently-offered Bambu PEI plates works with Vision Miner?
- Which of the currently-offered Bambu PEI plates works with Bambu glue stick and liquid glue?
Thanks in advance
all. Source - Me, have used the liquid and the stick on all plates.
all, but there are some caveats. I wouldn’t use it for tpu, PETG. Usually glue can be used as a release agent on those plates (glue stick). Vision Miner is actually helping adheision, won’t let those go as easily. Proceed with caution.
EDIT: The smooth is fine. Sorry I forgot to explain. I have some I’ve used on Smooth PET and real Carbon Fiber with PLA, and ABS. No issues. Wouldn’t recommend on textured plate.

Thank you all. The wiki page is helpful.
Background is I have been printing PLA, PETG, PETG-CF just fine on textured PEI, but I’m testing PA12-CF and it doesn’t stick at all. On top of that the person who sold me the garolite plate think he sent me the wrong one so he is resending a new sticker.
In short, I’m looking into glue options, hence this question
Engineering may be a good try, with stick glue.
What’s engineering? I only see PEI on bambu store
I use vision miner on all high temp, high warp filaments - no matter the plate. ASA, all nylons. But also heat soak the chamber to 45c before printing. You’ll be golden.

Sorry, guess that’s no longer available. The smooth pei would be a good replacement.
