VoxelPla, opinions of company please

Yep, feel the same way. I think their definition of shipping is a label created.

In my case the rep kept telling me it’s on the way and that USPS hadn’t updated. I’ve had pickups not scanned but never had them travel all the way to me without another scan. I was told first that it would arrive on Friday, then to wait until Monday, both which were well past the time it would have taken. Again, swearing it had shipped.

Then it appeared, a pickup scan. Next at the USPS distribution hub. I called him out on it, that he was lying to me the whole time. He never admitted it but without asking I received a refund.

Like you, if they didn’t advertise next day I wouldn’t care. You have to corner them to get the shipment to go out. Apparently influencers don’t go through such things, or the sponsorship money is good.

Late to the discussion but this is my 2nd time shopping from them. Bento ordered on 11/8. “Shipped” email on 11/10. Accepted at the USPS facility on 11/15. Currently somewhere out there. Last time was a similar experience except they did print the label the same day I ordered.

I would rather not do business with them again because of their deceptive practices. Unfortunately I ordered a Vento and Bento so I’ll have to look around for filter alternatives.

I’m looking too. I’ll share where I find them if I do. The measurement is 117.475 (4 5/8") on all four sides. I can’t believe they manufacture the filters. I’m willing to bet alternatives will show up.

Thank you. To put everything into comical perspective, since I placed an order with Voxelpla, I have placed and received orders from the following vendors: Biqu, Bambu and Prusa (all with standard shipping). Tracking does show that my Voxel order is at my local distribution facility so there is hope. Enjoy the holidays!

It’s been a while since I ordered from them but they shipped it all fast and it arrived quick. No complaints at all here.

I believe you. I’m happy about that too.
I’ve yet to see good service. I guess I’ll never try their filament.

For what it’s worth, I’ve had a very frustrating experience with Voxel. Here is the long story.

I ordered a Vento filter and replacement filters on November 25 to Canada. I paid for UPS international shipping and received an email receipt with an “Estimated delivery Friday, Nov 28–Monday, Dec 1.”

My credit card was charged that day, so they have my money.

I checked the following week on my order as I had not received a shipping notification; it hadn’t even shipped yet. When I inquired via website chat, I was told they had been “off for the Thanksgiving Day week” since my order was placed. A product provider taking the week of Black Friday off? OK. I was told it would ship the next day.

When I checked again another week later, I noted that it both hadn’t shipped and that the shipping method was USPS, not UPS (a difference of weeks in shipping). I paid for UPS, not USPS.

I went to the online chat again. This time I was told that there was a production problem with the Vento and shipping would be delayed. Two weeks since I ordered and this was the first that I had heard about it. Also, that the USPS was an error that would be fixed to UPS. They said it would ship the next week.

OK, I checked in the next week and it still hadn’t shipped. I was confidently told that it would ship on December 18th. I asked if they could use a faster shipping method (hoping for 2-day FedEx given that we were approaching a month since I ordered and they had had my money the whole time). They said they would upgrade me to “UPS.” I already paid for UPS! After apologizing for not fixing this error and the delay, they said it would ship UPS Expedited (1 to 3 day service) when it shipped on the 18th.

December 18th came and went—nothing. I sent a follow-up email and they said that the order was going out Monday (December 22) and “please let us know if the time frame works for you.” Do I have a choice?

Now Wednesday, December 24—the package has not shipped. I sent them an email and they said “Yes, the package has shipped yesterday, and it will arrive by the end of the week or early next week.” I don’t believe them. I asked for a tracking number and they said “Sometimes, the post office is a bit delayed with the update. Please give them 24-48 hours to update the system.” I mentioned that the package is not supposed to be USPS, but rather UPS Expedited. They apologized for “the confusion” and gave me a UPS tracking number—for a label that has been created and a package that has not shipped yet. And of course the label is for standard UPS service, not Expedited like they said it would be.

With an original delivery date of December 1st, it is now December 24th and the package hasn’t shipped. I normally wouldn’t care so much, but they took my money day one. I feel that reputable sellers take payment when the product ships and not before.

The product I ordered is for hobby purposes, but the printer is in my home office and the filter for my new printer is definitely wanted. However, if I had a business that relied on their products, I wouldn’t go anywhere near these guys.

None of that is surprising. One has to wonder what the benefit is for the creator using VoxxelPLA as a source for the filters. Why go with something that isn’t standard or easily found.
I’ve found a filter that will look and function nearly the same, just snaps instead of slides and uses filters available on Amazon.

I haven’t printed it yet. It uses 5" filters so I’m wondering if the filter will fit. Won’t seal I’d image being too small.
I will be switching though. Gotta find a way to get behind my printer though to pop off the filters. I’ll figure it out.

I wanted to try VoxelPLA, but the ordering and delivery experience has been disappointing. I placed my order on December 21 and understood there could be delays due to the holidays. However, I had to send multiple emails just to get a status update. Each time, I was promptly told the order would ship “the next day.”

The shipping label was finally created on January 5, but as of now it still hasn’t been picked up by UPS. At this point, it’s likely another week or two before delivery, which is simply not acceptable.

Based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be ordering from VoxelPLA again. I’ll be sticking with Bambu Lab, Sunlu, and Elegoo, which have all been far more reliable. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend VoxelPLA.

Having similar issues with VoxelPLA. Placed an order on Jan 1st, and when it didn’t ship by the 6th, I reached out and asked for an update. Received a response that my order would ship on Friday - Jan 9th. Received the USPS tracking info on Thursday Jan 8th. Reached out again yesterday (Jan 14th) since USPS was still showing Pre-Shipment.

They are located in Orange County, and I’m in San Diego, so 1-2 days max. They told me it should be here on Monday, which doesn’t make any sense - I’m 45 miles away from them!

I won’t be shopping with them again - It isn’t just their slow shipping, but their disingenuous communication. My order still hasn’t shipped - and they know it!

I’m kind of in the same situation. I ordered the full Python ams kit a month ago, and the shipping info on Voxel’s site states “shipped” , but USPS’s tracking has it listed as label created. I know the Postal service is less than reliable, but the tracking info is usually pretty good. Had hoped a print farm could have been the faster option. But at this point I would have been better off printing and piecing together my own hardware kit.

Email them. You’ll go back and forth a few times with them swearing it’s shipped. When you finally push hard enough they’ll say they’ll reship. Then you’ll see it move.

They are about the worst. Some see good shipping, but it never ships same day. I’m guessing they pay well for the “influencers” that spout how good their filament it.

Honestly the company shouldn’t be in business unless they start shipping etc as they say they will.

Been there, done that. Its like they just dont care. I guess the gaming side of their company is more important. I wont be buying anything from 3DEgos (the parent company) either.

I asked them about their shipping policy, and had emails from them promising it would ship. A week after that it shipped. They send me a coupon code for my next purchase…HA!

I had to cancel my Python order after 6 weeks of no progress. The only thing they were fast doing, was the refund. Not a great way to run a business.

All I can say is “I wish I had read this before I ordered”. You just described the exact same thing they just did me. Told them I would never order from them again. At lease they are consistent on customer service.

Well, I did one order with them.

I ordered a fancy fan filter, some replacement filters, and a few spools of filament. I genuinely wanted to try out their filament, as many have commented around just how good it was

I received one item (a replacement filter only). Nothing else. I waited and got nothing but crickets.

I emailed after a bit and asked why the rest of the order hasn’t been sent. They looked it up and didn’t have an answer. We chatted on the phone and they assured me the order would be filled - with one caveat. They are now out of one of the filaments I wanted to try. I said just send whatever you think I’d like.
I finally received my package. The fancy fan filter was installed and will most likely be removed as I am not liking the results of the airflow.

As to the filament, it is “ok”. Not better than BL or even Sunlu. Just ok.

So I can’t really add much positive to the conversation where Voxel is concerned. I genuinely am not at all impressed with the business side or the product side. Both left me wanting more.

I ordered 6 spools of PETG from Voxel just hours before I ran onto this thread. this thread was not very encouraging… so i replied to the “shipped” email and said that i would like to cancel it if i am not going to receive my order within 10 days. (I do not expect anything too fast from USPS) I don’t know if they got my email or not, but now USPS says that they have the package and it should deliver next week, so i guess I’ll see.

You may find the delivery date arrives and no movement on your shipment. If you contact them they will tell you it’s been picked up and that USPS just hasn’t scanned it. You’ll ber told “It’s on it’s way”.
It won’t be until that date comes they’ll own up to it, you’ll finally see movement.

Good luck, I mean that.
