VPN software detects high CPU usage from bambu studio

Hello,
When turning on my vpn software, it almost immediately warns me that bambu studio is using a high amount of cpu:
bambuwinscribe

It didn’t seem to break the current print or anything. I’m not sure if this is an issue or a false flag or a warning.
But just in case, I wanted to let you know this happens. I did not try any other vpn software. I do not have that error with any other application when using that software.

And how “high” was the CPU usage really? Did you checked it in the task manager? I mean this message is hot air if you dont have any real CPU usage data…

Checking actual CPU usage with Task Manager is a good idea. If there is no actual increase, check the “Ignore Warnings” box and move on.

Seems that the Windscribe software is acting in a way that causes the high CPU usage when the IP is changed to the VPN IP, but they offer a solution: TCP Socket Termination Error | Windscribe

Does the CPU usage spike if you establish the VPN connection before launching any Bambu software? That is, make sure that any sockets created are made using the VPN IP rather than the actual IP?

I ignored the warning and blame it mostly on that software detecting what it declares to be high threshold.
I only briefly looked at my cpu temp and it was correct. I’m using cisco anywhere daily for work and have bambu lab opened 24/7 and never had any issues.

I’m not complaining, I’m just saying as a dev, I would like to be told if my program would create alerts with other programs.
I will try to post a screenshot of cpu usage and its potential increase after I close work vpn.

So I don’t notice any cpu spike or increased usage when I turn it on.

What happens though is that if I’m on the monitor tab, the app goes fullscreen, freezes for a few seconds, then returns to normal (i’m using it windowed).

I also noticed the video feed stopped with :

Stopped [-20016!]

Which I do not see referenced in the error codes list here : Camera Feed Trouble Shooting | Bambu Lab Wiki

Finally, after turning it back on and off again, it got stuck, first showing an error, then just not loading video and getting stuck at “loading”. Even after attempting to stop/play again.

I’m pretty sure rebooting the app would have solved this but I didn’t try.
I didn’t investigate further and see what happens in other tabs.

But judging by the “going fullscreen” and that something locks the app, I’m guessing the app encounters something it did not expect. (probably while detecting dead socket and/or re-creating it ?)
Hoping this to be valuable to a dev and not a hot air message.

Edit :
Another error I don’t see referenced while vpn was working for 5 minutes
