Warped / uneven surface - possible failure modes and how to compensate

Hi

I have a X1C and have some issues with uneven / warped surfaces. I knew there can be issues with larger parts, but in my case the part is quite small and PLA and I did not expect any issues.
The part is cylindrical (D65mm, H=20mm).

I printed it twice, once with 20% infill, once with 100% infill. In both cases the bottom face is not completely flat but warped. The one with 100% infill is worse (gap of approximately 0.5mm, which I find is large for such a small part). In both cases the part did stick well to the heated bed and did NOT detach. Therefore, I don’t know what actually causes the failure.

I tried to understand the possible failure modes and how to compensate for it. Your inputs would be appreciated.

Failure Mode 1: Warped bed. I know this is currently one of the main Q issues the X1C has. I measured the bed @ 60°C. The warping in one direction seems ok, in the other direction there is a huge 1mm gap. I will for sure make a support request, I just don’t know if bambulab already has a solution?
Compensation: Bambulab should come up with a solution, but even if they improve quality, the heated bed can never be completely flat at all temperatures.
You could use a support filament to even out the warped bed. Has anybody tried that for larger prints? Off course it is not what you would like to do, but still it could work. Is there a possibility in Bambulab studio to put the object 1mm above the plate and activate support? What is the flatness you can expect from a bed with perfect quality? How is the X1C compared to other printers (prusa)?

Failure Mode 2: The print detaches from the hot plate.
Compensation: Clean surface, use brim, use a glue stick, avoid sharp edges on the objects (use a radius), increase bed temperature, use other materials.

Failure Mode 3: The print does nto detach but lifts the hotplate (magnets not strong enough)
Is this possible to happen for larger prints? I don’t think this can occur for a part which is only D=65mm, but it’s just a guess.
Compensation: Use other material? But PLA is probably already the easiest one? Maybe use a thicker hot plate?

Failure Mode 4: The warping occurs only after cooling of the print (no warping while the object is on the heated bed). I don’t know if this is possibe? How does infill percentage influences the risk for warping?
Compensation: No idea?

Failure Mode X: Are there any other failure modes I forgot?
