Was this fine on purpose?
Personally, I would have preferred a 3MF a staff member came up with.
Money, a gift card, is boring.
Early access to a new generic remote or upcoming vehicle by BL, would also have been nice.

Given I am from the U.K. and have only ever paid using GBP, is this an intentional “mistake” given the other pending issues?

You managed to issue another user with a GBP voucher, it isn’t that you are unable to.
When will this already two week delayed gift get rectified?
You appear to have sent a GBP gift card to a European user.

As also stated above, we are still waiting for the Kickstarter promised T-shirts that are delayed long beyond the promise and agreement we entered into.
The gift cards with the wrong currency cannot be used in the local stores.

It is also worth noting the “gift card” we can’t use, must be redeemed within 5 weeks.
Not a great “gift”, I assume they hope most will not be able to redeem it in time, even if they get one in the correct currency.
It has been set up to fail whichever way it goes.
So far only to the T-shirt. I dare say it’ll take a little longer as it is much more specific, so they’ll need to find the survey results they used to collect T-Shirt information, get them printed, put it in logistics, etc…
Still, it is in Bambu’s interest to get that resolved quickly. Otherwise, what are their crowdfunding T-shirt promises worth?
As for the 10 GBP voucher, I would not be surprised if during the course of the day, more people would get vouchers.

You didn’t say what they said, just an indication they may have lost data.
I created a ticket for the gift card issue.
I am sick of creating tickets.
Just get things right BL. You fail too often on the basics at that means more tickets and delays for us and unnecessary ticket handling for you.
Plus, the responder to the ticket always manages to screw up the first two responses minus as they can’t or won’t read what was written.
Well, they got it right for me … AUD$15. It’ll chip something off the next order, like 90% off a refill roll (bulk order pricing) or other parts, so no complaints here.
Yeah, sorry. SupportAssistant mentioned that (s)he had forwarded the issue internally and with it being close to the weekend, that we will probably not hear anything before next week. So nothing concrete. But it gives me a good avenue to chase further.
Again, my apologies. There’s a lot of speculation on my part there. Not having received information on root causes, I gave nothing else to go on.

Just used the CyberBrick survey gift card. Worked nicely in the EU shop for a €10,00 discount despite showing a 10,00 GBP value and UK gift code in the mail
