Wash your build plate. What?

I can’t seem to find any “official” Bambu guidance on how to properly care for the build plate(s). I’ve read they need to be washed; especially after large print sessions and after using certain filaments…

Any truth to this? Anyone know of any official documentation on plate care?

I have the textured build plate. I’ve had zero issues and I always wait for a complete cool down before removing the print.

What say you all?

I guess I suck at searching. Thank you!

No worries

You may want to bookmark the wiki though as it can be really helpful for all kinds of things like regular maintenance recommendations.

I don’t have much luck searching the wiki either. The wiki contains info that I know is in there but cannot find again using the list of contents or the search function.

Often Google is a better choice, just add “site:wiki.bambulab.com” to your search terms.

To be fair the Wiki index doesn’t make it easy for finding stuff. I find the best way to find what I’m looking for is to Google “Bambu wiki (Insert search term)” and this will bring up exactly what I need in the top couple search results.

Edit - Or what @lkraus said… stole my thunder (grumble grumble).
