So I’m just in the process of converting my H2D to H2C and I thought it would be interesting to share a photo of where the PTFE tube for the right extruder on the H2D connects into the buffer, my printer has done 1820 hours, and the AMS is on the right side so will naturally have more back and forth retraction passes causing this. I’m not sure what the interval time to replace this tube is but I guess it’s worth changing the tube at a set interval say every 2000 hours maybe, or just check it once in a while. Anyway just thought I’d share this from my experience, and if your doing the upgrade I can highly recommend the video series by @IftiBashir

Thats quite some wear on the PTFE! I never actually even thought to check mine!
Are you printing a lot of fiber filled filaments?
I just replaced both of my PTFE tubes with a 20mm longer version to prevent the buffer acting up a bit when printing front left side. This was at approximately 1400hrs. I didn’t check them then, but worthwhile keeping an eye on them.
Looking at yours, I wouldn’t want to wait until 2000hrs though. I would say 1500 is a good time already. Keep in mind that this increases drag and therefore extra load on all parts in the path.
