Hi everyone,
I have a Bambulab A1 and am using a new custom filament profile with Orca Slicer but the printer is ignoring my custom filament profile settings when the file is not saved.
The problem: I realize that when sending to print an object that the file (not the filament profile) is not saved, the printer ignores the custom filament profile settings.
What I did:
First of all, I created a custom filament setting from the custom filament section:
Then I selected that profile from the device tab for the AMS:
Then I calibrated the PA and Flow Rate. Updated the Filament settings and saved it:
Now, I opened a file, assigned the new filament setting to the object, and sent it to print. I realize that the printer used the default settings instead of the new ones (Right heart).
So, I decided to print again the object, but this time, with the file saved. Now the printer uses the new filament settings. And you can see that in this picture:
Left one used the custom profile // Right one used the default profile. (I’m stopping the printing at the layer 1 to see the results)
The weird thing is that when I change something and the file becomes unsaved, when I send it to print the printer uses the default filament setting again!!
Any suggestions? Am I doing something wrong?
