Weird lines on the slice in Bambu Studio

Hi All,

I am seeing these strange wispy lines on my slices. Haven’t printed this yet but in the slice they are identified at “Support interface”. What are these? Never seen these before.

thanks

Josh

Are you referring to the white lines? Those are the seams.

Hi

no. The green lines in the circles I have just drawn. They are support interface lines but why would they just be floating there?

Thanks
Josh

What it says it is, the layer between the support structure and the object.

Cause the model has tiny defects there? I can only guess without the files.

Thanks for the help.

I went back and opened a file I have printed only a few weeks ago. Those floating lines were not there then but as you can see from the screenshots are now. Since then I have updated Bambu studio. As you can see I have the floating lines on that model now. These are showing as supports. Any help appreciated.

Josh

Just reinstalled the 1.6.2.4 version of studio and sliced the same file as above and no thin wispy lines.
Would welcome any direction here.

thanks
Josh
