Weird looking of Hotend Heating Assembly

Hi! Sometimes I’m having some nozzle temp errors. I was checking everything and the Hotend Heating Assembly looks like that.
Does anybody knows why? Is that normal?

Printer is 1 month old. The nozzle temp error appears in different settings, even with fans off.

Looks normal to me. What in particular do you think looks odd?

The right part of it, its changing to a grayish color. And the plastic in top is deforming

Mine is more black than yours, but shows some signs of fading towards the bottom.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the black colour fades with heat a bit. Shouldn’t affect printing unless the part starts to deform.

Perhaps it has over-heated at some point, and a temperature sensor wire has come unsoldered?

I’d try carefully removing the heater block, and checking the wiring.

I will check it later. I have random nozzle temperature errors for 2 weeks. Could be that maybe. Thank you.

That doesn’t look normal. Temp errors usually mean the thermistor or heater cartridge isn’t making good contact.

I’d check if both are seated and tightened in the hotend, and also look over the wires near the hotend/connector for any damage or loose fit.

A loose thermistor is one of the most common causes. If everything looks fine but the error keeps popping up, I’d swap the thermistor first since it’s cheap and easy to replace.

The printer is 1 month old, I think it should be in warranty?
