Weird noise/vibrations, possibly nozzle scratching the print?

Hello everyone! I got the X1C Combo about 2 weeks ago and I’ve been largely impressed and happy with it.

On my last print I noticed some layer shifts, and after reading online about the issue, I redid the belt tension and cleaned the tool head rods with 99% alcohol, then ran calibration - as seen in Bambulab official YouTube videos.

Ever since I did that, the printer started making weird noises/vibrations. It sounds to me like at certain parts of the print, the nozzle is scratching the print. I did not have this issue before. I was worried that I might’ve over tightened the belt tension screws, so I redid it and ran calibration again but the issue still remains. I’m using Auto Flow Calibration and Auto Bed Leveling for all prints, so I don’t think the issue is with the filament or bed.

I’ve included a YouTube URL for a video of the issue:

Please let me know if you know anything about this issue and how to fix it. Thanks!

It sounds like the grid infill is making the noise. The nozzle is hitting the infill. Try gyroid infill and see if it is better.

I posted the same thing on Reddit and some people said exactly what you said. I tried the same model but changed the infill to gyroid and the issue is gone. Thanks
