Weird noise when printhead moves quickly

Hi!

I have a fairly new P1S that is printing really well!
I just noticed that it makes a new sound when it is moving quickly.
It should sort of like a rattling/grinding noise.

It is really noticeable in the video here: Telia Sky

It could sound like the problem they were having here:

This may be fixed by this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjIqH1FE7A8

I noticed that there is a bit of dirt on the idler wheels, but I just do not think that is the problem.

Have anyone encountered the same problem and managed to fix it?

Here are images of the pulleys.

I think you will have to try and narrow down the source of the noise, I mean if you are right up next to it hopefully you can tell if it seems to be a certain pulley etc…

And then clean a lot. I notice what appear to be fine whisps of filament way in the back corner on the motor, stuff like this blowing around and ends up somewhere it shouldn’t be is the likely cause imo.

Go through the maintenance wiki to clean all the rods as well:

Thanks for the response. I have cleaned it and checked the pulleys today, but the sound is still there. To my surprise, it seems to be coming from the print head itself.

I tightened the screws I can access from the front, such as the filament cutter screw, but the sound is still there. Any ideas?

Well, I haven’t had to deal with that but I think there are some other screws around back of the head. I would check the wiki to find some articles that show the areas of interest so you can find and check all the possibilities.

It clearly sounds to me like belt is rubbing on the pulley. I had the exact same thing after cleaning the pulleys and tensioning the belt. That’s a great video to follow.
it’s weird that it might be coming from the print head itself. I would recheck the pulleys first, to make sure those are 100% clean and aligned.

This is the source of that grinding noise.

Not particular this pulley, but any pulley with the side of the belt rubing the edge would make that noise.
