don’t know what’s going on, but all of a sudden my ams is transposing slots 2 and 4. for instance, when i want black from 2, it prints purple from 4. and when i want purple from 4, it prints black from 2. wtf?
Does it still do this after you turn it off and then on?
i turned it off and then back on after a few minutes, same result. turned it off and unplugged. plugged in and turned on and all was well.what an annoying glitch.
Ya strange problem maybe try switching the filament type and color then switch it back to see if the settings will get updated and be the correct order now ?

I just got a different, but equally weird problem with my AMS. 50 hours into a 53-hour print I was notified that the AMS had run out of filament. I checked and both slots that have been used for this print still had plenty of filament in them. Then I noticed that it wanted filament in slot 1 which has been empty and unused for this entire print! I couldn’t get it to clear, so I pulled the roll from slot 2 and put it in slot 1. It immediately started printing from slot 1 for about 30 seconds and then said I was out of filament again, wanting filament back in slot 2. I swapped the roll of filament from slot 1 back to slot 2 and printing resumed again for a few minutes and then it happened all over again. I did the slot swap 2 more times and now it has been printing normally from slots 2 and 3 for a couple of hours without problems. I’m a total newbie to 3D printing and I’ve only had this X1C up and running for less than a week, and this was my first big print, but this seems really strange. Has anyone else ever experienced this?
