Weird Purge line

< left is brandnew X1C - right is 1 year old P1s > Both standard 0.4 mm stock profile both same spool of filaments X1c is doing weird purge line and noisy ams Any advice?

It’s the latest BBS, they’ve changed it to be alongside the calibration lines. Much better IMO.

But when I rolled back the firmware update, it did it once, which was normal for me, and then it broke again. This made me think it was a mechanical problem

Right is P1S

Those lines aren’t in the firmware, they are in the start gcode that the new BambuStudio gernerates. if you use an older version of BBS it will be the old way.

Sorry I don’t keep them  I use abs and it sticks to the bed way more than PLA in my case, so I use the scraper and they kinda turn into coils in the process. I didn’t like having to reach into the the back corner to get them off and risk touching the build plate. (I also don’t get those leadscrew tattoos on my arm anymore). If remove the build plate then bed leveling reverts to the full 25 point dance on the next print. The do look the same as yours though.

Could he just add the Gcode back from the old version of BS in “Machine start G-code” under the “;===== nozzle load line ===============================” section?
