Well bummer on the Black Friday sale

Was hoping the AMS would go on sale. No such luck. Bummer. Wonder how many other people were hoping for the same?

Me too… maybe the next time or if release a successor for the AMS.

Me as well. Hoping to see a reasonable black Friday price drop to aquire another 2 AMS. As you’ve pointed out, it was a bummer… thinking about printing myself a couple of Hydra AMS and aquire the missing parts only… might be a solution.

It’s hard for any company to justify a sale when they struggle to keep up with demand. How long did it take for the iPhone to go on sale? iPhone 6 Maybe?

BL has a long way to go and not enough competition before their factories start to worry about over-inventory.

Check out their TPU filament as an example at $42 a spool and they still can’t keep it in stock. The slash indicates out of stock.

To be fair their stock is probably low as they just ran a week long sale @ 30% off if you bought 8+ spools. I definitely took advantage of the savings on the “premium” spools that aren’t covered by the monthly membership discount.

I’d agree with you if it wasn’t for the fact they put entire printers WITH AMS on sale. Using filament being out if stock is a bad comparison, as it’s a consumable, so has an entirely different purchase profile than hardware.

Entire printers on sale are to capture new customers. They have already got you :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
