After months of letting the machine sit there WITH ALL Filament backed out now the AMS is stuck in a loop complaining it can’t unload what isn’t there. Checked 100% of the feed tubes and all connections (Had to take the damn AMS apart because hey troubleshooting should mean disassembling the unit Right?) No need for easy access to parts people will very likely have to access. Well the Bambu lab unit is one expensive paper weight. I definitely have nothing good to say about these machines.

I have run into this problem. There is a filament broken in the part of the circle, you need to poke it out in the opposite direction.

Already made sure no blockage (Passed material through manually both ways) more likely the part has failed because it wont feed past the part you encircled probably the sensor that activates it. Not that I’m in any mood to fix it too many problems from the onset I’ll just toss the entire thing on the dung heap and be done with it! The failed print rate far exceeds the acceptable rate especially since machines 1/4 the price complete without serious surface uglies or knocking the print off 1/2 way through at less than half the rate P1P’s do. of the 60 or so different designs printed on the machine only about 10 actually turned out as well as my other printers could make them. more than half of the 60 failed completely for one reason or another the other 20ish turned out so poorly (Surface finish/layer adhesion/thickness/discoloration of single color etc) as to not be worth the materials wasted on them. Speed without consistency is worthless and before the primary problem was the software. Now the machine itself is failing. I’m No longer willing to toss good Materials out the window for this unit.
If you’re in the UK I’ll buy your printer and AMS. Gets you some cash back rather than chucking it right……

Sorry not close to you the shipping alone would be prohibitive.
I have bought 4 AMS units with my X1 carbon and I have bought them concurrently one at a time.
I have experienced tons of problems. When I added an AMS every time I had lots of problems sort of thing you mentioned happens. Also after a software update I have experienced problems like this. I have found a solution which worked every time. Delete bambu studio and remove all AMS connections and start afresh as f you just have got the printer new. Then things settle down immediatly. At least for me it worked.

I think everyone is forgetting the proprietary log in to even make these units work I’m pretty sure side sales is going to be a problem even if I was inclined to pack one up to ship it.
