For those of you that have received a H2D, what build plate comes with it?
I assume it is the textured plate but want to make sure. If that is correct, did you buy the smooth plate as well?

Might be best as a poll, but I received a textured plate.
Pretty sure everyone is getting the gold textured PEI, its in the specs of the machine.
@maximit
both the textured and smooth are listed in the specs that I found.
But, “What’s in the box” shows a gold build plate.
textured comes with the printer, but you can indeed purchase the smooth one separately (i did)
“Supported Build Plate Type” — not Included Build Plate Type
Yep, “what’s in the box” is what counts.
For anyone interested the two I ordered from Aliexpress came in yesterday. The plates, packaging and label all look like genuine Bambu… but they were $10 cheaper per plate than direct from Bambu.
I wish they made a plate that released PETG-HF easily. The H2D really prints PETG-HF nicely.
I bought the smooth plate but I’m looking forward to Supertack.
I got a one for $21 as there was a pricing mistake for a day or so. You can find them for $54 now, sometimes there are sellers selling them for $42 but I cant find any right now.
Im waiting for the supertack/frostbite as well. Those plates are game changing for PLA/PETG and the only thing I use on my X1/P1.
I wish I had seen that! Mine were the $54, but I think I got small discount for buying 2… but still no where near $21 each.
I figured it was a pricing mistake, so it was possible it was going to be canceled instead of shipped. But I buy a lot of stuff from Juupine store so they wound up shipping mine to keep me happy. They sold about 30 before catching the error.
For less money than a plate you can get the Vision Miner Nano Polymer bed treatment.
By all accounts that I’ve seen (haven’t tried it yet, but I ordered some) it’s essentially foolproof.
It has good adhesion at high temps and then molecular bond releases upon cooling.
Yes its by far the best adhesive, I use it for all materials. Its not cheap but lasts a long time as you only need a few drops every 10-20 prints.
Frostbite plate for PLA/PETG and nano polymer with textured PEI for all other filaments. I have not had a failed first layer in so long i don’t even remember.
I also use nano + textured PEI for cosmetic PLA items that need a nice looking bottom layer as it hides the extrusion lines better than frostbite.
@NoahKatz & @maximit
Are you using the Nano Polymer adhesive on a smooth plate or textured? Or both?
Thx for the help.
I use it on textured, engineering and a PEA plates, it works on all types. Does not leave a reside on the bottom either, but does require a pass with a blow torch to remove the grey stress marks. On smooth PEA and engineering plates it spreads even easier so you can use even less of it. It gets stronger with heat, so when it cools the prints comes off super easy and on their own often. With smooth PEI plate you need to use a tiny amount, if you use a lot it can rip the plate. If you want a smooth plate type the Energetic brand PEA is great, smooth as glass and much more durable than smooth PEI.
Its available again for $23:
Now $52. (Plus you’ll probably have to pay an additional $75 of import duty if you ship it to the US.)
Still showing up as $23 for me.
It shows me €49.99, but I found the same Plate for €32. They’re from Juupine.
