I don’t print often but it seems after a month or so, I go to print and my PLA starts to fall apart. It becomes brittle and breaks off into the tubing. What can I do to prevent that? Or what’s causing it?
It’s wet and needs to be dried. Brittleness is the first sign of moisture in PLA. Toss it in a filament dryer overnight and it’ll be just fine again. Make sure to store them in a airtight (ideally vacuum sealed) bag with desiccant when you aren’t printing with it
