What counts as an Impression in analytics?

Has anybody found an explanation for this new metric?

Thanks!

Typically your impressions show how many total times people have seen your model organically. In other words, 500 impressions = your model has been seen 500 times in the recommended field, in “related models”, inside a category, by looking up tags etc.

It is different from “views” which is how many times your model page itself has been visited.

Now that related models, a curated page for models picked for you, and other algorithms are working, impressions are a new statistic that tell you how many times your model has been shown by the algorithm (or by searches).

It’s not how many times someone has clicked it and viewed the page, but how many times it’s just shown up at all
