I cant figure out what the purpose of the “Auto-recording monitoring” switch ? with it disabled I still have live video from LAN & WAN (handy mobile), timelapse, why and when should it be activated ?

As far as I can tell, the X1C records each print (not as a time lapse) when this setting is enabled. These videos are stored on the SD card and do not appear in the Media device menu of BambuStudio. You will need to insert the SD card into a card reader to view these videos.

Must be recorded on monitoring computer or LAN device like a NAS instead of the SD card.
This option must be disabled by default on the slicer IMHO.
