What does BBL 2.0.0.89 actually have in it?

Before I install any updates, I would like to know what BBL 2.0.0.89 contains or does. There is no description at all. It keeps popping up everytime I boot the program and no way to stop it from doing so.
Thanks

Are you still on a 1.x.x Version?

https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/software/bambu-studio/release

It is a configuration update which will contain new or modified system profiles for printers, filaments, and/or processes. I am not aware of any release notes documenting changes.

I wish I could I prefer the UI much more with the older version. I can not afford a H2D and most likely will never be able to own a H2D. So all those features mean nothing to me. I wish Bambu would have 2 slicers to keep all those unused for the H2D features out of the build.

Plus I don’t need nor want their locking out my Panda Touches or Orca which I still prefer all the extra setting I can get to for tuning.

I almost wish Bambu labs would offer a pro level buy in that would keep your printer totally open. I’d pay for that for sure.
Thanks

Thats a long answer without answering my simple question, but okay

I hope you don’t print much from Makerworld, because 3mf files created with v2 don’t work in v1 as the designers intended …

I have the first version of of Bambu Studio and loved it. I downloaded the first version of V2 and was unimpressed. V2 seemed rushed and awkward. The new filament printer setup portion is just weird. I’ve been a huge supporter of BL. But the H2D is a bridge to far for me. I really hoped they would make a PMAX series.
Thanks for responding. All I was asking is what does it contain, that should be a easy answer. Mist updates for any software tell you exactly what they are updating and what it fixes.

And you have also received an answer. Including a warning that they have messed up the profiles between v1 and v2. You won’t notice any further development if you stay on the predecessor. A successor is just a successor. :man_shrugging:
