What Does Your Printer Area Look Like?

I would like to see other people’s setup. Take a picture of your printing area (nook?). No cleaning or making pretty, just snap a photo as-is!

This is me! (First time posting. I hope the photo comes out…)

I love it! You have a great area to work/play in…
I wish I had all that space. Thanks for letting me see your “Printing Mansion.”

Be careful of the filament shelves. I also had 2 rows using the bottom brackets in your pic. Eight months later 2 brackets broke…the screws went through & the fell on my E3P.
After that I just moved everything to the bigger room.

Just finished my filament storage project. Ikea Besta and some odd bits screwed together… The print side is a big solid office desk with my X1C and the other side of the room is a long foldaway table with a cheap laser and old Ender S1Pro. No pics that side as its a tad messy and NSFW currently :joy:

Thanks for the heads up! Nevermind my deleted posts, I’m still trying to figure this out.

That is a really nice storage setup!

Its been one of those projects that sat on the desk for months. I had the sketch drawn up, but once I had the Cupboard in front of me it seemed overkill so went with simple rods and printed saddles. Sure beats the old stacked cubes, now I can grab what I see. I’ve got a box of shame with doubles/triples of colours I didn’t know I had lol. Next task is labels on the rods (like shopping shelve tags).

Maybe im a bit greedy, P1S setup today, just cleared shelves in my garage and need to do way more. One of the Sunlu S4s will be converted to hold the ams lite and the parts are in progress of being printed.

Resin or FDM?
Either way you’ll have to live with just a description.
FDM. Imagine a stick of C4 going off inside a sphere of weapons grade plutonium. Now try and picture that right after detonation with the shock wave spreading at the speed of light, somethings flying and others yet to be caught up in it. Constant state of Shrodinger’s cat in room form. It is either or it isn’t.

That would be clean and organized compared to my stuff.

The only difference for the resin is that it’s deadlier if you drink it.

I like this concept and I think sometimes the imagination can produce something far more interesting than actual pictures. So let me paint you a mental picture of my setup:

Image if you took a pump sprayer full of female gorilla pheromones inside the last free standing Radio Shack. Then you meticulously walked up and down every isle dousing everything from the relays to the resistors with a hefty coating. Now release 4, full grown, alpha male silverback gorillas that have been injected with Red Bull and cocaine in the store. Two days later congratulate the last standing gorilla and set him free, then pack an antique canon with orange desiccant beads, push it up to the door of the store and fire it.

Good job I didn’t take a pic of the other parts of the garage and especially my work bench :exploding_head: It’s really not pretty but I am in the mind set that if I haven’t used it in over a year or more its destined for the bin

Through my newfound mastery of AI I can show you a visual representation of my work space…

I still love your collection of RC cars.

I used to park my car the same way before they took my license from me just because my brain exploded due to a tumor.

I’ve added an SV06 ACE to my collection, I guess I should update my picture.

I wish I was as tidy as you guys.

I have added printers to my hobby farm, but, not in any decent or controlled way.

Had my life expectancy been anything decent, I would purchase proper bases and custom shelving for multiple AMS units for each one with integrated everything. Right now it is just a waste of money. It wouldn’t benefit anyone when I’m gone and I’m leaving my money to my friend’s children, and I feel I’m wasting their inheritance.

My 220+ filaments would be neatly shelved and my accessories organised into accessible drawers.

Right now I have them across two different rooms. Two in my oversized hallway and three in my office. The filaments also live in my office. The 4 metres of desks I have are entirely covered with models I have prototyped yet not uploaded yet. The floors are covered with boxes of spares and filaments, with filaments up one wall and bulging out a fitted cupboard, then more in a cabinet and yet more in crates on the floor.

Everything is encroaching on my Mac with the 55” screen that I can’t use too often as I’m unable to sit fir more than a few minutes at a time.

Ideally I would have them in a single room, but that means upstairs and stairs are now so difficult for me.

Anyone would think I had severe medical issues after reading all that.
