What dose this mean
Did you update to the beta
Maybe im not sure im not that brite
Yes its Beta 1.08.03.00 so yes
So in the new beta they added a new verification feature. Are you using any third party things like orca slicer or panda touch?
No im not using anything else just bambu slicer
It seems to be because you are not using the latest slicer or handy, I would not recommend using this beta though. You can downgrade the firmware in the app.
Everything is stock no added aftermarket anything
You should probably downgrade the firmware to the normal one.
Thank you very much!!! That was the problem :0)
Downgrading isn’t necessary, even though it might temporarily resolve the issue.
You should use the Public BETA version of Bambu Lab Studio along with firmware version 1.08.3, as restrictions were introduced in that firmware.
However, as you’ve already noticed, remaining on firmware version 1.08.2 will address the issue for now.
Well to me Beta versions are mainly to test for bugs im not interested in finding them im interested in using my printer and if the version im using dose that then im perfectly fine with it I have one printer and it has over 5200 hours on it, I print for fun Ill leave the tech stuff to others smarter than me
Honestly I was happy with the version that i got with the printer back in October of 2023 It work for me the way i thought it should :0) it printed stuff
However, firmware version 1.08.3 is a BETA release. Could you clarify why you chose to participate in the beta program if testing new features isn’t something you’re comfortable with?
I posted the Error message i got if someone can explain exactly what it means and how to fix Great!!! I have a stock printer no Mods just replaced parts as they wore out . So what went wrong? What dose the error message mean? That is my original question. Do you have an issue with me choosing Beta? I felt totally comfortable pressing a button and choosing Beta thats all i had to do
MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) is a messaging protocol that allows devices to communicate with each other over unreliable networks .
MQTT is often used by third party products to communicate with Bambu printers. The beta firmware blocks some uses of that protocol. If you do not use such products, the error does not matter.
If you are “not that brite” you probably should not opt in to beta programs. You may encounter problems that you cannot diagnose, repair, or workaround, and your feedback to the developers may not be knowledgeable enough to benefit their debugging. Stick with stable versions of firmware and software to minimize problems.
You should be able to roll back to stable Version 01.08.02.00 firmware by using the Handy app on your phone.
Yes thank you for the explanation i still wonder why its not communicating if i never changed anything and the beta version was fine for the last prints
It hasn’t worked since beta firmware 1.08.3, which blocks printer control via MQTT. The only explanation I can think of is that you installed version 1.08.3 after your last successful print, as using beta firmware 1.08.3 requires the BETA version of Bambu Lab Studio for communication with your printer.
I have the same issue for this version. Just downgraded!!!
