12 hours left on a 5 1/2 day print and I come home to this…
Solvo brand silk. I noticed it’s very rough filament
Edit: totally didn’t mean for this to be click bate. Sorry, I didn’t even think about it. I’ve never seen this and it’s just crazy odd to me.

I’d say it’s possibly gotten caught in the cable drag chain. Maybe? Actually, not sure if that’s possible. But I don’t use one.

You have then two prints. When you print the tube rubs on the top Glass too an bit + rough filament. Change tube and use an ptfe tube guide for the head

Bummer! That is the most severe damage I’ve seen on this tube.
Once you get it fixed, I highly recommend these PTFE Chain Clips. Keeps your PTFE tube in control and away from damage.
You could also install these as the PTFE tube can wear prematurely by rubbing on the top glass.
Good luck!

Thank you.
And thanks you to everyone. I didn’t know this could even happen.

My fix for the tube rubbing on the top panel. It’s an adhesive furniture felt pad. Works, and polishes the inside of the lid too
