What is causing this with PETG?

I almost always print PLA but had an item I wanted to use PETG for and I’m trying to figure out what is causing this issue. This is just a test print but but it seems like something similar is happening in the full print.

  • Filament: Polymaker Black PETG (new roll)
  • Layer Height: 0.12mm
  • Nozzle: 0.4mm standard P1P nozzle
  • Preset: Generic PETG
  • Modifications: Flow Ratio 0.9975, Pressure Advance 0.02 Max volumetric speed: 9.5 following calibration prints in OrcaSlicer, temp 265.

I first tried with the standard Generic PETG settings with similar but worse results. Following the changes it seemed to be less frequent but is still happening. I circled the area in question in the image below. The other image is the opposite side and it looks fine.

Any thoughts on where to look to make additional improvements?

Thanks

Been printing pretty much only petg since I got my printer, and I found that Bambu 's default overhang and bridge speed were really overly optimistic. Slowed them down and undersides looked a lot better. Particularly the bridge speed, I think default was 50?

Still tinkering, but I got much better results at 30 and should probably go lower.

Looks like it might be your issue as well.

Hi,

I was also having problem with overhang when printing PETG-CF and someone in the X1 forums suggested to slow down the overhang to these speeds …now I get very good results on my P1P.

Also for my filament brand (Eryone), the nozzle temperature of the generic PETG-CF profile was too high (255) so I reduced it to 240 which also helped with overhangs and eliminated stringing.

Hello, have a nice day, you now have the perfect settings for PETG-CF from Eryone?
found. I would be very interested, I am also new to Bambu Lab. and also wanted to print something with PETG-CF. I’m still trying out what the perfect settings are
