I am trying to run a Dynamic flow calibration but filament flows for the first 10 seconds then it all changes and this clicking starts. Anyone know a solution?
ELEGOO RAPID PETG BLACK is the filament and it has been dried for 18 hours.

What temperature are you printing at? Have you tried printing hotter?
270 nozzle. 75 bed temp .
Nozzle is clogged or you have a filament jam.
I think I found the reason and in the middle of a test print right now. Not quite a filament jam, but I think my AMS Lite got moved too far away and was creating a bad angle for the Bowden tubes. The test is going well but I also want to try a different filament.
Nope, went right back to clicking after 2 prints.
Is your spool moving freely? Look and see if there’s a cross over, they can be hard to see once the AMS retracts and spools back up.
Just a thought.
Someone else posted about Elegoo a few days ago (I think) with a similar problem.
Reading Amazon reviews, it seems to be hit or miss lately, maybe they changed their process. Amazon.com: ELEGOO Rapid PETG Filament 1.75mm Black 2KG, High Speed 30-600mm/s 3D Printer Filament Dimensional Accuracy +/- 0.02 mm, 1kg Cardboard Spool(2.2lbs) Fits for Most FDM 3D Printers : Industrial & Scientific
Anyway, since you’ve been printing at 270*, you will have to purge a new filament at 270* or higher to make sure all the Elegoo is out.
I think I found the reason.
That is the back of the Hotend Heating Assembly (the black stone-like piece).
Sorry for the blurry shot but that is one of 4 screws that hold the 2 pieces together falling out as I carefully pulled the assembly out. Screwed that one back in and checked the other 3, they were ALL loose. Tightened it all up and things aren’t making clicking noises anymore. I am guessing that they have been that way since I got this printer (I have never had it apart before) and would explain some of the off and on trouble I have had. Sometimes it prints great and other times it just doesn’t. Hoping this fixes a lot .
Hey I did check the same screws but it doesn’t resolve my problem of cliking! Do you have the clik again or not?
No clicking anymore for me. I started to check them when I get the y-axis lube message and have had to re-tighten them again, just a little but they were loose. Sorry it doesn’t help you.
I regularly hear extruder clicking on my A1 Mini when the temperature is around 140 and climbing to target 220.
