What is this tag thing?

Hello All,

I have been 3D printing for many years and I have used Simplify3D almost exclusively, because of the outstanding way they deal with supports. But since getting my X1C, I’ve been using the Bambu software only.
OK, that said, I’ve worked out support setting that I’m very happy with, but I keep getting these “tags” that show up, and I’m not really sure how to rid of them. See image.
TIA,
Muggs

Welcome to the forum.

It looks like its a support brim. Are you able to upload the .3mf file for a more detailed look?

Yes see attached of a test file I made.

Thank you,

If you have a multicolor print it will default to ‘filament’ in the preview:

Change it to ‘line type’ so you can see what type of lines exist:

And you can tell if it is brim or support etc by the dark blue / green colors respectively.

As I suspected it is the support brim

If you switch to tree support it will probably solve your issue. This is the easiest solution, you could however play with the normal support settings to get rid of the brim.

Normal support

Tree support

Normal support with Snug style

Lenyo,
Thank you, I wasn’t aware of that.

JonRaymond,
Thank you. I changed from default to snug and that fix the issue.
