I’m printing a model with MatterHackers NylonG because of its high impact strength and need to embed a logo of a different color and I need the logo to stick well to nylon. I don’t have other nylons on hand but have many other types of filaments in many colors. What would work best?
The problem is what will stick to nylon (besides nylon) that is available as a 3D filament. I have not tried it but the only contender I see might be a TPU. It’s a polyurethane and as such should stick to nylon at nearly the same print temperature. Color changes could be a problem though.
Thanks, I’ll give that a try and report. I had tried ABS and although it looked OK on the model, the layers in the prime tower were really easy to separate between ABS and nylon. ABS would probably be a good support for nylon.
Tried TPU for AMS and it didn’t stick well either. I’ll have to go full nylon and order more colors.
