I was disassembling my ams ht for reconnecting the air outlet when I saw these white shavings on the bottom. What could it be?
Hazarding a guess: abraded white filament?
I once pulled the filament out while the motor wanted to pull it in. I had shreds everywhere…

Check the PTFE tubing on the inside of that HT; it might be wearing out and need to be replaced.
