What's causing these marks?

Im trying to get this print as clean as possible (I dont want to have to do any sanding as dont want this to be painted).
I think im nearing the limits on what I can do with it. However, im still not clear on what’s actually causing these marks (being a relative newbie)…

When looking at the slice (attached) there’s no support interface covering the affected areas, no extreme overhangs and the actual support shouldn’t be touching. Would someone be able to explain what it is that causes these marks?

aha! So I went into paint supports tool and it does indeed show that those overhangs tally with the marks :frowning: . I was purely looking at the blue overhang walls in the slice before as my guides.
